Witów Ski

Witów Ski is a ski station located several kilometres away from Zakopane. During the week, the ski pistes are not very crowded, and you do not need to wait in line for a long time to get to the lift. Unfortunately, this is very often the case during the weekends. The best solution is to arrive early in the morning - you can then ski comfortably for up to 3 or 4 hours before the slope becomes crowded.

Witów Ski is not an Alpine ski station, but it is quite decent considering the conditions in the Polish Tatra mountains. The ski slope is quite gentle. A 1 km-long four-person chair lift, 120 metre-long T-bar lift for children and 550 metre-long snow park (which is not surprising, considering that this is where the ski school of Jagna Marczułajtis - a Polish and European snowboarding champion - is based), ski rental service, night illumination and a restaurant - all this ensures that you will have loads of fun at Witów… even if this is your first time wearing skis or a snowboard.

The ski slope is accessible daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. In the peak season (besides Christmas and New Year, when the prices are higher), a 9-hour pass costs PLN 75. A weekly pass costs PLN 385.
